Mexican Themed Charity Event a Huge Success

On Saturday the 23rd February, Flueboost held a Mexican themed charity evening at Marthall Village Hall in Knutsford. It was to support two charities very important to Flueboost Managing Director Alison Cartwright. The charities were the East Cheshire Hospice and Friends for Leisure.


The East Cheshire Hospice is based in Macclesfield and cares for adults who are living with life limiting illnesses. The East Cheshire Hospice provides care, comfort and support to patients and their families.

Friends for Leisure are based in Congleton and support young people with learning disabilities allowing them to form friendships and access a wide range of social activities in the Cheshire East area.

Flueboost is pleased to announce that the charity event raised £2500 for the East Cheshire Hospice and Friends for Leisure.

Alison Cartwright commented, “I would like to thank the local businesses who offered raffle prizes to support the event. It means so much to us and will aid in the support of the East Cheshire Hospice and Friends for Leisure. The event was an outstanding success and enjoyed by all.”


Raffle prizes at the event included a gin afternoon tea, Sunday lunch for four, Mexican themed hampers and much more.
