The Flueboost 100 Boiler model efficiently deals with flue gases at temperatures up to 200c and boilers with a heat output up to 100,000 Btu; 30Kw/h, dependant on size and length of flue. The normal secondary flue temperatures of the average gas appliance working at 75% efficiency are 180c with a CO2 at 5%
The motor is of fixed speed. It has a centrifugal rotor with secondary cooling impeller. It has class H windings and has maintenance free sealed, adequately lubricated ball bearings, ensuring reliable operation for many years.
The pressure switch has contacts that close when there is airflow. The contacts open if fan failure or a blocked flue occurs.
If service or repairs are required all the working parts can be removed as a sub assembly without disturbing the main casing A full and comprehensive instruction manual for installation and operation come with the unit.
The unit is supplied with a 4 core ‘yy’ type cable.
The cores are numbered 1-3 and are yellow/green.
#1 – live
#2 – neutral
#3 – switched live at 220/240 vaults
The fan has a built in pre purge period of approximately 30 seconds. This purges the appliance of any gasses before the boiler ignites.
Gas fire models have no built in purge.
The unit is constructed from grade 304 stainless steel with a ‘mill’ finish.
Within the primary flue section of this appliance there must be a draught diverter or draught stabiliser fitted.
