FLUE BOOST 350
The Flueboost 350 is an inline centrifugal fan designed to evacuate the products of combustion within the flue. The unit has an inbuilt speed controller together with a flow sensor and interlock for failsafe operation
Avaliable for both standard flue systems and gas fire applications
Capacity & Ranges
It will handle flue gases at up to 300 Deg C and boilers with heat outputs up to 350,000 Btu/h; 102Kw. (Normally secondary flue temperatures of the average gas appliance working at 75% efficiency are 180 Deg C with a CO2 content of 5%).
Motor Cooling
The motor is a speed controllable unit with class F windings the bearings are maintenance free sealed ball bearings with adequate lubrication to ensure reliable operation for many years.
Connections
A plug-in electrical connector is supplied, this is a multi-pin connector fitted with a five core lead, the five cores are colour coded. Brown-permanent live; Blue-permanent neutral; Green & Yellow - earth; Grey - switch live from thermostat to fan; Black - switch live from fan to boiler.
NOTE:- The output supply is 220/240 volt switch live only.
Pressure Switch
The pressure switch has contacts which close with air flow and open in the event of a fan failure.
NOTE:- The pressure switch has an interlock installed which ensures failsafe operation.
Time Delay
The fan has a built in variable pre purge & post purge periods (time delay) of approximately 30 seconds to 3 minutes. This is to purge the boiler of any gases before & after the boiler firing sequence.
Installation & Maintenance
Full instructions on installation and operating come with the unit. If service or repairs are required the working parts may be removed as a sub assembly without disturbing the main case.
Finish
All surfaces in contact with the flue gases are corrosion resistant stainless steel.
