FLUE BOOST 150

 

The Flueboost 150 is an inline centrifugal fan designed to evacuate the products of combustion within the flue. The unit is single speed and contains a flow sensor and interlock to ensure failsafe operation.

Capacity & Ranges

It will handle flue gases at up to 200 Deg C and boilers with heat outputs up to 150,000 Btu/h; 44Kw. If fitting to a gas fire consult the manufacturer first.

Motor Cooling

The motor is a single speed external rotor complete with secondary cooling impeller and class F windings, the bearings are maintenance free sealed ball bearings with adequate lubrication to ensure reliable operation for many years.

Connections

Supply lead = 1.5 metre x 0.75mm, type YY x 4 core flex

NOTE:- The output supply is 220/240 volt switch live only.

Flow Switch

The pressure switch has contacts which close with air flow and open in the event of a fan failure.

NOTE:- The pressure switch has an interlock installed which ensures failsafe operation.

Time Delay

The fan has a built in pre purge (time delay) of approximately 30 seconds; this is to purge the boiler system of any gases before boiler ignition. Gas fire models have no pre purge.

Installation & Maintenance

Full instructions on installation and operating come with the unit. If service or repair is required the working parts may be removed as a sub assembly without disturbing the main case.

Finish

The units are constructed out of 1.2 mm mill finish 304 stainless steel.

220/240 Volt; single phase; 43 watt. Starting current 1.2 Amp. Running current 0.19 Amp. Fan fuse 3 Amp (located below input socket).
