FLUE BOOST 100

The Flueboost 100 is an inline centrifugal fan designed to evacuate the products of combustion within the flue. The unit is single speed and contains a flow sensor and interlock to ensure failsafe operation.

Capacity & Ranges

It will handle flue gases at up to 200 Deg C and boilers with heat outputs up to 100,000 Btu/h; 35Kw. (Normally secondary flue temperatures of the average gas appliance working at 75% efficiency are 180 Deg C with a CO2 contet of 5%).

Motor Cooling

The motor is a single speed unit with class F windings, the bearings are maintenance free sealed ball bearings with adequate lubrication to ensure reliable operation for many years.

Connections

Supply lead = 1.5 metre x 0.75mm, type YY x 4 core flex

Note:- The output supply is 220/240 volt switch live.

Pressure Switch

The pressure switch has contacts which close with air flow and open in the event of a fan failure. Note:- The pressure switch has an interlock installed which ensures failsafe operation.

Time Delay

The fan has a built in pre purge (time delay) of approximately 30 seconds; this is to purge the boiler of any gases before boiler ignition. This is a factory fitted item and may only be removed prior to despatch.

 Installation & Maintenance

Full instructions on installation and operating come with the unit. If service or repairs are required the working parts may be removed as a sub assembly without disturbing the main case. Finish All surfaces are constructed out of a mill finished stainless steel.
