Motor Cooling

Using a variable speed motor, centrifugal motor and secondary cooling impeller. Class F windings with maintenance free lubricated ball bearings. This combination provides reliable operation for an optimum amount of years.

Pressure Switch

The internal pressure switch activates at closed for airflow through the unit and open if a fan failure or blocked flue is detected.

Installation and Maintenance

All Flueboost appliances arrive with comprehensive installation and user manuals. Only sub assembly is required for replacement of working parts. Which leaves the main body of the unit untouched.

Connections

A plug in connector is supplied, it's multi pin with a five colour, core coded lead. Brown – permanent live Blue – permanent neutral Green – earth Yellow – earth The White switch is live from thermostat to fan, shown in manual as a dashed/broken line. The black switch is live from fan to boiler.

Time Delay

Since the appliance requires purging the appliance has a post and pre surge periods of approximately 3 to 30 seconds. This purges the appliance of any gasses before ignition and after shut down. Gas fire models do not require this feature.

Finish

The unit is constructed of stainless steel with a high grade 304 mill finish.

Note

The appliance must be fitted with a draught stabiliser or draught diverter in the primary flue.
